World’s fastest trotter joins MMXX show team
[Windham, Connecticut] – MMXX Standardbreds is thrilled to announce that Homicide Hunter, the world's fastest harness racing trotter and holder of the all-time trotting speed record, is joining the MMXX show team for the 2025 season. With career earnings of $1,761,577 and victories in some of the sport's most prestigious races (including the Breeders Crown, Allerage Trot, and Hill Memorial) this exceptional athlete is now set to make his mark in a whole new arena.

Homicide Hunter's transition to the show ring is made possible through an exciting partnership with Crawford Farms, a leader in Standardbred aftercare. MMXX Standardbreds is dedicated to showcasing the breed's athleticism, intelligence, and adaptability, and this latest addition to the team further highlights the limitless potential of retired racehorses.
"This isn't just an opportunity for racing and equestrian fans to meet a true superstar, it's a chance for Homicide Hunter to return to the winner's circle once again, but this time, in the show ring," said Molly D'Agostino, representative of MMXX Standardbreds.
MMXX Standardbreds is at the forefront of bridging the gap between the track and the show ring, combining an elite, all-Standardbred show team with an adoption program that has successfully placed over 225 retired racehorses into second careers. Thanks to the support of Michelle Crawford and the Crawford Farms team, MMXX continues to expand the reach of Standardbred aftercare, promoting these incredible athletes as high-level show horses.
